Engr. Abu Noman Howlader CIP, the Chairperson of BBSCL is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from BUET. He was born in Bhola District. He completed his SSC from Karimgonj High School, Lalmohon, Bhola and HSC from Rajshahi City College. He started his Professional Career as a Project Engineer (Mechanical) in 1997 in Sinha Textile Group. In 2000 he started exploring new scopes for business with an ambition to be an Industrialist and to be a direct contributor in employment generation. In 2003 his dream came true, he along with some entrepreneurs established Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd. (BBSL), one of the leading brand in pre-engineered steel building in Bangladesh. He is an optimist man, good leader and also a perfectionist.

His inner vision, leadership and early adaptability have made BBSL a trusted name in pre-engineered steel building sector in Bangladesh. He is the corporate member of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), Utara Club, Bangladesh Electrical Association, Electrical Merchandise & Manufacturing Association. He is also the member of Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry and National Association of Small & Cottage Industries of Bangladesh. He is a regular contributor of many social organizations also. In his professional career he visited India, China, England, Thailand, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Australia, KSA and countries.

Mr. Noman is also the Chairman of Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd. (listed Company) and Nahee Aluminum Composite Panel Ltd. (Listed Company). He is also a Director of BBS Metallurgic Industries Ltd., Helix Wire & Cables Industries Ltd., BBS Infrastructure Ltd. BBS Distribution Ltd., BBS Developers Ltd., BBS Cables (Unit-2) Ltd., BBS Media Ltd., Nahee S S Pipes Industries Ltd., Dynamic Cars Ltd. and Nahee Zeo-Textiles Mills Ltd.


Engr. Mohammad Badrul Hassan

Managing Director

Mohammad Badrul Hassan is a Graduate in Civil Engineering from I.I.T. Kanpur, India and completed Masters in Advanced Engineering Management from BUET. He took various business related professional courses at home and abroad. He was born in 1975 in Noakhali District. He completed SSC from Motijheel Govt. Boys’ High School and HSC from Notre Dame College, Dhaka. He started his professional career in 1998 as a Design Engineer in Engineering & Planning Consultancy Ltd. (EPC). In 1999 he joined in BMI Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd. Sri Lanka as a Sales Engineer. In 2001, he joined in Zamil Steel, Saudi Arabia. In 2003, he along with some entrepreneurs established Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd. (BBSL), one of the leading brand in pre-engineered steel buildings. He was the President of Rotary Club of Dhaka Pioneer. In his profes-sional career he visited India, Sri Lanka, Canada, China, Thailand, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, USA, UK, Malaysia, Australia,Singapore and other countries. He is a member of Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and German Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh. He is the Director of Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd. He is also the Director of BBS Metallurgic Industries Ltd.

Engr. Hasan Morshed Chowdhury

Director

Engr. Hasan Morshed Chowdhury is the Director of BBS CABLES PLC. He is a Civil Engineer. He completed his graduation from the Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology (BUET). He was bon in 1972 in Gaibandha district. TBBS He started his professional career in "Multi-Build under the Management of Jonson Control-USA. In his service under Multi-Build, he worked in Singapore, Sri Lanka & India. He gained valuable experience by getting training on "Building Management System, Air Conditioning System, Fire Protection System & Safety Issue under direct supervision of an USA expert Professor Mr. John. He is a fellow member of IEB. He is the Member of All Community Club (ACCL), Capital Recreation Club & Uttara Club and BUET Graduates Club. 

He is also the Senior Vice President of Steel Building Manufacturing Association of Bangladesh (SBMA). He is the Director of BBS Cables PLC, BBS Infrastructure Ltd., BBS Metallurgic Industries Ltd., BBS Readymix Ltd., Xiamen Reflective Insulations Ltd., BBS Distributions Ltd., BBS Cables (Unit-2) Ltd., Helix Wire & Cables Industries Ltd., BBS Media Ltd. and BBS Electric Industries Ltd.


ENGR. MOHAMMAD RUHUL MAJID

Director

Engr. Mohammad Ruhul Majid is a Director of BBS CABLES PLC. He is a Civil Engineer who completed his graduation from the Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology (BUET). He was born in 1972 in Chittagong district. He started his professional career as a site supervisor in "Jamuna Bridge Project under Hyundai Corporation in 1996. During his service in "Jamuna Bridge Project, he was awarded 'Best Supervisor" in safety matter. He is a Fellow Member of IEB. He was awarded Best Organizer of CESA, BUET in 1996. He is also the Member of BUET Graduates Club, Engineers Club Jatara, All Community Club (ACCL). The Capital Recreation Club Ltd., Army Golf Club and Uttara Club Ltd.


Mr. Ruhul is the Director of BBS Infrastructure Ltd., Xiamen Reflective Insulations Ltd., BBS Metallurgic Industries Ltd., BBS Cables PLC., BBS Cables (Unit-2) Ltd., Helix Wire& Cables Industries Ltd., BBS Readymix Ltd., BBS Distributions Ltd., BBS Media Ltd. and BBS Electric Industries Ltd. He is also the Chairman of Reyes Ltd.



Md. Belayet Hossain

Independent Director


Mr. Belayet Hossain was born in Madaripur District. He has been working in ABA Group (RMG Sector big giant) and holding the present position as Director (Finance) before that he served as executive Director from joining in this Group.


Mr. Belayet Hossain worked in Paragon Leather & Footwear Ind. Ltd (German Bangladesh Joint Venture Project), as General Manager (CEO). He worked in Excelsior Shoes Ltd as Head of Production, Planning and Costing & Inventory Management. He worked in Alhaj Textile Mills Ltd as project In-Charge & Head of Accounts.

He did train in shoes manufacturing, Marketing & shoes production process & RMG products, and Management from South Korea, Taiwan, and Malaysia. He has long time working experiences with foreign national (Japan, South Korean, Taiwan, China, Germany, UK, India, Shi Lanka, Netherlands, Italy and Spain). He travelled many countries of the world.

He is a seasoned Professional Accountant and Management expert in the fields of entire Finance, Accounts, Banking of all sorts, Commercial operations, marketing, Productions, Merchandising, Project setup, Funding from banks & Financial institutions.

Md. Enayet Hossain

Nominated Director


Mr. Md. Enayet Hossain was born in January 01, 1956 in Barguna District. He completed his Masters' Degree in Arts from Dhaka University. He also completed Diploma in Banking, Fellowship in Valuation and Management (WCO), Brussels. He is Retd. Member of Custom, Excise & VAT (NBR) & Ex-0fticio Additional Secretary (IRD). He passed BCS Examination in 1982 & joined in Bangladesh Civil Service in 1983. 

He worked as Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Commissioner and Additional Commissioner in different Commissionerate’s of Custom, Excise and VAT. He was former director at VAT Intelligence, Audit & Investigation. He was commissioner Of Bond Commissionerate from 1999 to 2003 & Commissioner of Dhaka South & North, Rajshahi, Sylhet Commissionerate from 2003 to 2009.

 

He was the member Of NBR at Administration, Excise & VAT (Policy and Implementation and IT) from 2010 to 2015. He was also President of Appellate Commissionerate, CEVAT, Dhaka for 02 years. He has taken and foreign training program from different institutions. The local training programs were foundation training in PATC and CETA and foreign training programs were Intellectual property Rights, Wpo, Geneva, Switzerland; Border Securities Arranged by Home Land Security, USA; Custom and VAT Modernization, Wallington New Zealand; Transaction Value Arranged by ADB, Singapore; Pre-shipment in Tokyo, Japan, Sydney & Melbourne, Australia, Jakarta, Indonesia, Cape-Town, Jonesburg, South Africa
